For our third and final paper on reparations in america we had much more time to really focus and take our time to write our paper. To start off my paper I made an outline of things I wanted to talk about and find connections to the other articles that I could put into this paper. I started off my paper with writing the body paragraphs first and writing the ideas I had. It worked well since writing them was part of our homeworks, then I was able to write my main claim in my introduction. I was lucky enough to have a writing lab professor who was able to go through my paper every week and give me feedback on. She would let me know when some parts were a little long and were running on and when I needed to be more specific and find more evidence for my claim. I remember specifically my fourth body paragraph was short and I was talking about the idea of reparations and if they were possible. She explained how part of my paragraph drifted away from the main focus and also told me that I needed more evidence to support my claim. I was lucky enough to have the extra time and set of eyes to go over my paper and allow me the time to work on my best paper.
